Studio and Surrounds Left Of Elephant Sound is now in mobile mode. Primarily set up as a live performance and rehearsal room, the space is approximatley 6.8 metres wide x 6 metres long, with the roof peaking at 3.8 metres high. The floor is carpeted on top of a cemet slab. Carpets can be moved for a more live sound if necessary, the walls are heshen cloth covering insulation. The control room is still in construction, depending on the project ie: mixing, editing or overdubs, the equipment can be moved in or out of the performance room as needed.
Located in Berringa, and old gold mining community in Western Victoria, 38kms South West of Ballart, an hour from Geelong, 40 minutes from Ballarat and around 2 hours from Melbourne. Set on a 20 acre rural property, with a large dam and lots of space to get lost or to find inspiration. Kangaroos, Black Cockatoos, Echidnas, Grass Parrots and Eagles can be seen in the valley over looking fields with Mount Elephant in the distance. Clients and equipment can be picked up from the train station at Ballarat, Airports at Tullamarine or Avalon, in Left Of Elephant Sounds's Hiace, which can carry six people and equipment securely and safely.
