Location Recording Left
Of Elephant Sound's recording equipment is road cased and can be easily
integrated into a live concert performance or an on location, non
traditional studio environment.
Set up where you regearse, at a concert, anywhere!!!!
(this can achieved using be a combination of transformer
isolated stage splits and additional stage microphones specific for
recording that may not be used in the Front Of House, or taking direct
lines out of the FOH desk combined with room - crowd microphones)
Live
Concert Recording
This can be
achieved through taking
a split of the stage microphones and
DIs through professional Radial brand transformer isolated splitters.
These splitters reduce unwanted ground noise and supply a clean signal
to the recording equipment, at the same time supplying the F.O.H (Front Of
House) with the same signal it would normally receive.
Additional microphones that may not normally be used in the F.O.H but
may be wanted in the recording, such as extra drum microphones or
audience condensers
microphones, can be added and fed to the
multicore running to the recording equipment. This recording equipment
is protected by a UPS (Uninterruptible
Power
Supply) in case of power
failure or power surge, giving up to 20 minutes back up time.
On Location - non
traditional recording environment
Left Of Elephant Sound's equipment can be set up in any location
where you may want to record. All the gear used in the music room
studio, like pre amps, headphones, monitors etc. can be set up anywhere
you chose. Jeremy has recorded in farm barns,
churches, burnt out sheds, by camp fires, public halls, out in a field,
lounge rooms,
toilet blocks, offices..these
places are only limited by your imagination.
Places capture feelings...if
that's where you feel it, record it there.
It is great fun to get away and
record in a unique place.
Some recordings Jeremy has
worked on out of the studio..(more to come)
